Doctors Without Borders. Our teams of doctors, nurses, logisticians, and other frontline workers are often among the first on the scene when peoples’ lives are upended by conflict, disease outbreaks, or natural or human-made disasters. Kiva. Kiva is an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 in San Francisco, with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. We do this by crowdfunding loans and unlocking capital for the underserved, improving the quality and cost of financial services, and addressing the underlying barriers to financial access around the world. Mustard Seed Communities. Mustard Seed Communities (MSC) is an international nonprofit dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable populations throughout the developing world. MSC provides loving and lifelong care to over 600 children and adults with disabilities, children affected by HIV, and young mothers in crisis across Jamaica, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. Waves For Change. Through published, participatory research, our Surf Therapy programme has been co-designed with children and youth alongside supervision from local mental health experts, leading to an innovative programme that is both child and youth friendly and evidence based.
